Button Clicker

WHAT IS THIS?

Just your average clicker game with some extra stuff I sprinkled on top and everyone's favorite programming language...... Java!

HOW DID THIS START?

Well I had been making some dumb stuff in java for a little while and for my first project that I didnt do with tutorials I just did this

WHAT IS THIS RIGHT NOW?

Right now the project is in development but the current build is available below if you wanna test drive it. Currently the game has:

• A Main Menu
• Cool Music (more to come)
• A Settings Menu
• A Save Manager To Create And Delete Saves
• A Cool Loading Screen
• A Placeholder Wiki (TBD)
• A Shop
• A Game Screen Where You Can Click :)

Its quite bare bones for now as its in sort-of active development by yours truly.

WHAT TO EXPECT OUT OF THE FULL GAME?

• A Full In-Depth Wiki (Available In Game)
• More things in the shop!
• A sort of afterlife type thing like in cookie clicker
• A bunch more stuff I cant remember off the top of my head right now
• A Bunch Of Clicking

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE FUTURE

• Nothing

It's dissapointing but this game was meant as a learning experience for me and at the end of the day it's just a clicker game so there's not much to it. Aswell as that I kinda want to move on from java because I want to learn actual game development in Godot and stuff so thats that.

STUFF USED

• Log4j for logs
• Gson for reading and writing to JSON files
• FlatLaf for a better java gui theme and more customizability
• JavaFX Media for easy audio playback and volume changing
